Takin’ a Break Note Card Set of 12
David was taking photos on the Saunders Twin V Ranch in Weatherford, Texas for his book, "Cowboy Gear", and it was raining cats and dogs. Everyone and everything was soaked to the bone. The horses, the Longhorn cattle, and the cowboys were tired and cold. Lee Hay, the cowboy in the scene, was frankly just taking a break under the mesquite trees. The elements are a big part of the Western story David tells in his work.
